Waterborne heavy-duty coating for inner wall of oil storage tank

Product description

This product series is specially designed for anti-corrosion in petroleum storage tanks, and is made of water-based epoxy resin and related functional materials. The series of products are divided into two types: conductive and non-static, which will not affect the quality of oil after use.

Supporting performance

Good anti-corrosion ability, meeting the protection requirements of the entire coating;

With water as the dispersion medium, no toxic and harmful substances are produced during the construction process and the coating film-forming process, which meets environmental protection requirements; two-component curing, good hardness, good adhesion, resistance to various oils, and excellent chemical resistance;

Good compatibility, the coating film is firmly attached to the metal substrate, and can enhance the adhesion of the upper coating film;

The construction in the tank can properly increase the lighting voltage without fire hazards and ensure the construction quality.

Application range

Non-conductive products are suitable for the coating protection of crude oil tanks, floating roofs and other parts that do not need to conduct static electricity. In addition, they are also suitable for the coating protection of the inner walls of sewage treatment tanks and pharmaceutical tanks. Conductive products are suitable for finished oil storage tanks (diesel, kerosene, volatile oil, various gasoline, etc.) inner walls and other coating protection with anti-static requirements

Surface treatment

All surfaces to be coated shall be free of oil and dust and shall be kept clean, dry and free from contamination and all surfaces shall be evaluated and treated in accordance with the 608504:1992 standard. It is required to reach the Sa2.5 level, and the primer should be applied within 6 hours after sandblasting.

Construction instructions

High pressure airless spray is recommended to obtain a uniform and good film.

Mix evenly according to the proportion. If the viscosity is too thick, you can add water to dilute to the application viscosity. In order to ensure the quality of the paint film, we recommend that the dilution amount be 0%-5% of the original paint weight. The relative humidity is less than 85%, and the construction surface temperature is greater than 10°C and greater than the dew point temperature by 3°C.
