Waterborne Zinc rich primer for steel structures

Product description

This product series is a new generation of environmentally friendly anti-corrosion and anti-static primer, which is prepared based on water-based silicate resin or water-based epoxy resin, zinc powder, nano-functional materials and related additives.

Product performance

Good anti-corrosion ability, meeting the protection requirements of the entire coating;

With water as the dispersion medium, no toxic and harmful substances are produced during the construction process and the coating film formation process, which meets the requirements of environmental protection;

Two-component curing, good hardness, good adhesion, chemical resistance;

Good compatibility, the coating film adheres firmly to the metal substrate, and can enhance the adhesion of the upper coating film.

Application range

It is suitable for anti-rust and anti-corrosion of heavy steel surfaces such as various large-scale steel structures, ships, mechanical equipment, bridges, etc., which are harsh in environment and require high anti-corrosion performance.

Surface treatment

Remove oil, grease, etc. with a suitable cleaning agent. Sandblasting to Sa2.5 level or SSPC-SP10 level, the surface roughness is equivalent to Rugotest standard N0.3. Construction within 6 hours after sandblasting is the best solution.

Construction instructions

It can be applied by light coating, brushing and spraying. It is recommended to use high-pressure airless spraying to obtain a uniform and good coating film.

Before construction, the AB component liquid material must be stirred evenly with an electric mixer, and then the AB component should be mixed evenly. Before construction, it is recommended to close the feed inlet with an 80-mesh filter. If the viscosity is too thick, it can be diluted with water to the application viscosity. In order to ensure the quality of the paint film, we recommend that the dilution amount be 0%-10% of the original paint weight. The relative humidity is less than 85%, and the construction surface temperature is greater than 5°C and greater than the dew point temperature by 3°C. Rain, snow, and weather cannot be used outdoors. If construction has already been done, methods such as covering with tarpaulins can be used to protect the paint film.
